Tirana, October 16-17, 2025 – The final conference of the COUTURE project, supported by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union and led by Universum College, was held at the premises of the European University of Tirana.
The conference was attended by the Vice-Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Assoc. Prof. Dituriјe Ismaili, Ph.D., and Asst. Prof. Genta Spahiu Mirzo, Ph.D., representatives of the institution. Mother Teresa University in Skopje contributed to the project with the academic expertise of its staff, providing training for the staff and students of the partner institutions.
Assoc. Prof. Dituriјe Ismaili, Ph.D., coordinated the project over a period of two years, while Assoc. Prof. Sani Demiri, Ph.D.; Asst. Prof. Genta Spahiu Mirzo, Ph.D.; and Asst. Prof. Emira Imeri, Ph.D., also participated in its implementation.
The event highlighted the importance of innovation in curricula, sustainable pedagogy, and collaboration between universities and industry, while the partners presented concrete results on module development and the practical impact of professional training.
Among the most memorable parts of the conference was the student fashion show in which participants presented their final projects, transforming the COUTURE methodology into tangible and sustainable products.
The COUTURE project demonstrated the success of international cooperation in connecting education, creativity, and industry, laying the foundations for a more sustainable and innovative future in higher education.
