Skopje, May 2026 – Third-year students of the Psychology study program at Mother Teresa University in Skopje carried out an educational visit to Savant Center for Psychotherapy, Speech Therapy, and Special Education. The visit was conducted within the Clinical Assessment course, under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Nita Beluli Luma, Ph.D., with the aim of deepening knowledge and connecting theory with professional practice.
During the visit, the students were welcomed by the center’s multidisciplinary team of experts: Hatixhe Sefa (psychologist and director), Zekije Ameti (special educator), Xheneta Shabani, Sara Nuredin (speech therapists), and Ilknur Ramadan Kadri and Sibel Imeri (psychologists).
Through an interactive lecture, students had the opportunity to closely explore the process of clinical assessment in children, including aspects of typical and atypical development. During the session, practical cases, specific assessment methods, and professional approaches from different disciplinary perspectives were discussed, making the experience comprehensive and highly educational.
The two-hour lecture was welcomed by the students, who gained concrete knowledge and direct insights from professionals with proven field experience. Such visits remain an important part of the MTU curriculum in preparing students for future professional challenges.
