Varaždin, Croatia, May 11, 2026 – Following the official invitation from the Rector of University North (Sveučilište Sjever), Full Prof. Damir Vusić, Ph.D., the high-level delegation of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, led by its Rector Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., participated in the prestigious career event UNIN CONNECT WEEK in Croatia.
As part of this official visit, MTU Rector Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., was accompanied by Vice-Rector Assoc. Prof. Diturije Ismaili, Ph.D.; Assoc. Prof. Zoran Trifunov, Ph.D.; and Assoc. Prof. Vladimir Kitanovski, Ph.D.
The event, held from May 11 to 15, 2026 in the university centers of Varaždin and Koprivnica, represents but an elite platform for connecting academic institutions with the industrial and governmental sectors. The MTU delegation attended the official opening on the opening day, a program dedicated to project partners and university management for the exchange of experiences and institutional networking.
During bilateral meetings with the leadership of the University North, which has more than 5,400 students across fields such as technical sciences, medicine, and arts, joint future initiatives were discussed, including academic staff exchange, scientific research projects, and joint programs for student skills development.
The participation of the MTU delegation in events such as this confirms MTU’s commitment to becoming a regional leader in innovation and inter-institutional cooperation, creating sustainable bridges between higher education and the global industry.
