The second day of “UNIN Connect Week 2026” at University North (Sveučilište Sjever) commenced with the official opening of the HEI2MARKET startup competition. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vladimir Kitanovski had the honor of opening the day’s program. Alongside the senior research team composed of Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diturije Ismaili, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zoran Trifunov, and Rector Prof. Dr. Bekim Fetaji he presented the key milestones and achievements of Mother Teresa University in Skopje (UNT) during the successfully completed first phase of the HEI2MARKET project.
Several landmark outcomes were highlighted in front of students, industry leaders, and members of the academic community:
- The launch of the Innovation Partnerships and Project Acceleration Center – IPPA
- The development of the “Majka Tereza” AI chatbot dedicated to student support
- The creation of a career matchmaking platform facilitating “B2B” connections between students and the corporate ecosystem
These breakthroughs mark a substantial step forward in driving the university’s transformation into a modern hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and strategic industrial collaboration.
