The Head of History and Philosophy Department at the Austrian Academy of Sciences, Prof. Dr. Oliver Schmidt, visited “Mother Teresa” University in Skopje, where he was welcomed by the Rector of UMT, Prof. Dr. Aziz Polozani.

Academician Schmidt expressed his commitment to support the university for scientific and academic research. He also thanked the Rector for hosting him at the university and congratulated the Rector for the establishment of this new educational institution, while he wished success to the students on the start of the new academic year.

The possibility of mutual cooperation between the two institutions in the field of science and the intensification of inter-institutional relations and modalities for the realization of this cooperation were discussed during the meeting.

At the end of this meeting, Rector Polozani thanked academician Schmidt for visiting the university, and both sides agreed to further cooperation that will be elaborated in the future on issues of mutual interest.
