Skopje, April 11, 2023 – On this day, the rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Lecturer Izet Zeqiri, Ph.D., visited and signed a memorandum of cooperation with the principals of 3 high schools located in the capital, Zef Lush Marku principal Arben Memedi, Arseni Jovkov High School of Economics and Law Nazmi Ramani, and Cvetan Dimov principal Sakip Axhami. 

With the agreements, the signatories agreed to be a framework of the basis of the cooperation between the institutions. 

The cooperation agreement covers exchange of scientific and professional experiences and knowledge; preparation of joint programs for scientific and professional training, and professional development of staff; preparation of joint projects, analyzes, and evaluations in the above mentioned areas; cooperation of mutual support in an organization and realization of professional and scientific conferences, seminars, round tables, workshops, or summer schools; cooperation in the field of educational programs in the area of practical and clinical work; and other forms of cooperation that are to be decided by the institutions themselves. 

Rector Zeqiri was accompanied by the Vice-Rector for Education and Student Affairs, Lecturer Fati Iseni, Ph.D., the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Lecturer Rizvan Suleimani, Ph.D., the Vice-Rector for Science, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, and the Vice-Rector for Finance, Investment and Development, Assoc. Prof. Bujamin Bela, Ph.D. 

With the agreements, MTU formalizes its excellent cooperation with Skopje secondary schools, which, in practice, implements exchange of experiences and exchange of staff, while, during the school year, and at their request, high-school graduates are welcomed to visit the MTU premises and require information about MTU’s study programs they can continue their academic career in. 

During the 2023/2024 academic year, Mother Teresa University in Skopje operates with 3 new faculties, and offers 40+ study programs attractive for the country’s high-school graduates. Additionally, on October 1, MTU begins the new academic year in its new premises in the former Ilinden barracks, currently under rapid construction.
