Skopje, April 8, 2024 – The Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Lecturer Izet Zeqiri, Ph.D., welcomed the two students from the Faculty of Economics, Diedon Ramadani and Xhihad Shabani, to a working meeting.
Students Ramadani and Shabani from the MTU Department of Applied Economics and Entrepreneurship won second place for the best scientific paper in the competition organized by the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Republic of Macedonia, a competition of an annual award for young researchers for the best work in the field of the capital market. It is an activity foreseen in the 2023 Securities Commission work program, intending to promote the development of scientific thought and the production of papers in the area of the securities market, as well as the affirmation of new and professional staff, which will strengthen institutional social responsibility from all aspects of its activity.
Under the tutelage of Assoc. Prof. Bukurije Imeri Jusufi, Ph.D., and Lecturer Rilind Ademi, Ph.D., students with the paper titled “ATTEMPT TO PREDICT PRICE OF SHARE OF MACPETROL AD SKOPJE THROUGH ARIMA STATISTICAL MODEL AND INFLUENCE OF RUSSIAN-UKRAINIAN WAR ON PRICE”, provided a second place for Mother Teresa University in Skopje.
Rector Zeqiri, as a sign of gratitude to the two students Diedon Ramadani and Xhihad Shabani, awarded them with a Certificate of Appreciation for their achievements and for raising and advancing the scientific contribution of MTU and encouraged them to continue making us proud with their future challenges.
