Skopje, September 2024 – In the presence of the academic staff, at Mother Teresa University in Skopje, the scientific seminar organized and moderated by the Vice-Rector for Science, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., took place.

The aim of the seminar was to explain the topics and clarifications for the scientific papers at conferences and scientific journals in the three scientific paper evaluation stages, including the technical control of the paper format, plagiarism, and the review process by two anonymous reviewers. In the review process, the online platform was clarified, made so that all reviewers identified by numbers write their reviews as well as written samples (examples) for the style and procedures of the faculties’ journals.

Also, the Vice-Rector Fetaji presented the new editions and the current editions of the journals of all the faculties of MTU with ISSN numbers, as their indexing was previously discussed.

Moreover, it was clarified that the first issue of the journals refers to the conference and its papers, as well as the comments received at the conference; it is processed and, thus, completed and sent to the journals. The first call is in December, while the second is in May, and it is open to all and not affiliated with the conference.

At the end, certificates were granted to the reviewers from the previous year and acknowledgments for the contribution they made to the TSD conferences (www.conference.unt.edu.mk) and the five scientific journals (www.journals.unt.edu.mk).

The seminar also served as a debate platform for raising and improving quality.
