Skopje, April 2026 – In his office, Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., had the pleasure of welcoming the German researcher and expert, Mr. Dirk Schattschneider, as part of an introductory visit dedicated to exploring opportunities for future interinstitutional cooperation.

At the meeting, MTU Rector, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D.,was accompanied by Full Prof. Izer Maksuti, Ph.D.,from the German Language and Literature study program at the Faculty of Human Sciences, and Mr. Arnulfo Acedo, a lecturer from the American Fulbright Foundation in the English Language and Literature program at MTU.

During the meeting, an open and friendly discussion took place regarding the possibilities for strengthening interinstitutional cooperation, including academic exchanges, the development of joint projects, and other initiatives in the field of education and scientific research. The parties emphasized the importance of the internationalization of universities and the creation of sustainable bridges of cooperation at the international level. The meeting also served as a valuable opportunity for mutual acquaintance and exchange of academic experiences.

At the end of the visit, Mr. Schattschneider expressed his satisfaction with the hospitality and the discussions held, indicating his willingness, during a future stay in the country, to deliver a thematic lecture for the students and academic staff of MTU.
