Skopje, May 11, 2026 – Today, the Faculty of Law at Mother Teresa University in Skopje successfully organized a thematic lecture with the guest speaker Mr. Fatmir Musa, Public Prosecutor at the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Skopje. The event, held at the university premises, attracted great interest among students and academic staff.
The lecture was moderated by MTU’s Vice-Rector for Education, Full Prof. Fati Iseni, Ph.D., who emphasized the importance of transferring practical experiences from the judicial system directly into university lecture halls.
During the discussion, Mr. Fatmir Musa addressed the topic “The Role and Functioning of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in the Republic of North Macedonia.” Drawing on his many years of professional experience, he explained the mechanisms of the functioning of the Prosecutor’s Office within the judicial system, the practical challenges in criminal prosecution and the fight against corruption, and the importance of professional integrity for future judges and prosecutors.
Mr. Musa, known as one of the most successful candidates of Pavel Shatev Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors and with extensive international experience at UNDP, shared advice with the students regarding their professional development in legal professions.
Moderated by Vice-Rector Iseni, the students had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss specific cases, receiving answers that connected the theory studied in legal subjects with the reality of fieldwork.
