Karate athletes Rudina Aliu and Rexhep Rushiti have achieved extraordinary success at the FISU World University Championship Combat Sports, held in Brasília, Brazil, proudly representing “Mother Teresa” University.
Rudina Aliu claimed the bronze medal following stellar performances and decisive victories over competitors from Australia and Chile. Meanwhile, Rexhep Rushiti secured the silver medal, reaching the finals after crucial wins against contestants from Turkey and Australia.
This achievement marks a significant milestone for university sports and karate in North Macedonia. It is worth noting that this prestigious championship brought together over 1,500 athletes from 50 countries worldwide, with each nation represented exclusively by its elite athletes in the respective disciplines.
