Mother Teresa University designs and produces protective equipment for healthcare workers. To confront the unprecedented worldwide challenge posed by the COVID-19 Corona virus pandemic, Technical Faculty lecturers in collaboration with their colleagues from Prishtina and Tirana, designed and started to produce secondary protective equipment which is considered essential for the protection of healthcare workers and other people as well. Soon, these equipments will be donated to healthcare workers because they are considered to be at higher risk from COVID-19. This equipment is manufactured with a 3D printer and has a plastic circle attached to a transparent plastic sheet.

It guarantees higher safety especially for health professionals who serve patients infected with COVID-19. It is important to emphasize and appreciate the tireless commitment of our professor Blerant Ramadani and the support of Shaban Buza, Prof.Dr., who jointly implemented this idea.

We can win the war on Covid-19 only with joint commitment and strict discipline.
