Rector Zeqiri on behalf of MTU accepted the donation of nearly 700 scientific publications

Skopje, 22.09.2022 – Rector of ‘Mother Teresa’ University in Skopje, Lecturer Izet Zeqiri, Ph.D., held a working meeting with a delegation led by the President of the Academy of Sciences of Albania, Academician Skënder Gjinushi.

Rector Zeqiri informed the president of the Academy of Sciences of Albania, Academician Skënder Gjinushi, about the development of MTU, as well as expressed his gratitude for the enrichment of the University library with the donation of nearly 700 scientific publications and gifted him a plaque of appreciation for their contribution and cooperation with ‘Mother Teresa’ University in fields and sciences of common interest.

Academician Skënder Gjinushi expressed his gratitude to Rector Zeqiri for the mutual cooperation, wishing to implement this agreement and start the collaboration as soon as possible.

MTU and ASA with this agreement aim to improve inter-institutional cooperation between ‘Mother Teresa’ University and the Academy of Sciences of Albania, as well as between their component structures, defining the basic priorities of cooperation and how to implement them, based on the legislation in force and universally accepted principles and common interests.

The fundamental governing principle for the cooperation of the Parties will be academic freedom and university autonomy. MTU an ASA will cooperate by respecting each other in their self-activity regulated by laws and regulations, preserving and developing the most successful traditions, through initiatives, projects and joint academic and scientific research activities. In joint activities and other, the Parties accept and respect the European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity.

They have a critical and negative attitude towards all forms of plagiarism and pseudoscience.
