As part of the Erasmus+ Mobility Program for Training of Academic Staff, assistant professor Fjolla Pustina from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture spent a week at the Iuav University of Venice, the University Institute of Architecture in Venice, Italy (Università Iuav di Venezia) – at the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning.

During the mobility, Pustina was fully integrated into the curriculum of the first and second cycle of studies, visiting some of the architectural studios of the respective lecturers according to the curriculum of the semester and under the mentorship of Lecturer Francesco Musco, Ph.D. – director of research and observation of Iuav.

In addition to her academic experience, Pustina also had several meetings with the International Mobility Office at Iuav, and an inter-institutional agreement was initiated between the two universities through the Erasmus+ Mobility Program, so that an opportunity for the academic staff and students of the faculties of architecture at both universities will be created, so they are to be able to attend 1–2 semesters at the respective universities.

The cooperation with this university is a step forward towards internationalization and quality networking of Mother Teresa University in Skopje.

Iuav University is ranked among the top 5 universities for architecture and design in Italy, and among the top 100 universities in the world according to the QS World University Rankings 2022.
