Zagreb, 14.03.2023 ‒ Mother Teresa University signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of Modern Information Technologies in Zagreb, Croatia (Visoka škola za informacijske tehnologije).
The two signatories, the Rector of MTU, lecturer Izet Zeqiri, Ph.D., and the Dean of VSIT, lecturer Edmond Krusha, Ph.D., gave their word that the two universities are to cooperate in fields of common interest, as well as in topics oriented towards education and scientific research, as well as are to promote direct contact and cooperation between academic staff, faculty departments, research institutions and students
The aim of this memorandum is to develop the academic and educational cooperation, the establishment of cooperation programs in various fields between the two universities and cooperation in their common interest for a variety of activities in higher education.
The two institutions of higher education, MTU and VSIT are to cooperate in specific areas such as in exchange of academic staff, exchange of students. Also, the institutions are to develop joint educational and research activities through international projects, symposia, conferences, joint programs for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate academic levels, direct recognition of diplomas issued by the two signatories, exchange of published academic materials and access to digital library databases, joint organization of short-term educational programs, summer/winter schools, special certified programs. Moreover, MTU and VSIT are to organize joint sports and cultural events.
The memorandum of understanding with the University of Modern Information Technologies in Zagreb, Croatia, was realized during the working visit of the Rector, lecturer Izet Zeqiri, Ph.D., and the Vice-Rector for Science, lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., in Zagreb, under the IDADOHS Program part of the Erasmus + project.
