Asst. Prof. Kaltrina Zekolli, the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law at “Mother Teresa” University in Skopje, participated in the Balkan Leadership Conference, titled “Western Balkan Countries and EU Relations – Challenges and Perspectives”, organized by the Podgorica Club and the Universal Peace Federation.
The Balkan Leadership Conference gave clear messages, while the leaders of the states emphasized that our countries work and continue to work even further in achieving strategic determinations, respectively full membership in the EU and NATO.
One of the messages of the conference is that ‘the powerful common voice of the region to awaken consciousness, responsibility and action for a better and fairer world where every human being is valued and respected equally’. Otherwise, the war in Ukraine as a result of Russian aggression has also influenced peace and security in the Western Balkans, in which case the EU initiated new dynamics for the integration of this region.
Many state leaders and various representatives spoke at the Balkan Leadership Conference. The conference was organized by the Podgorica Club and the Universal Peace Federation.
