Bitola, September 12, 2024 – The Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Lecturer Izet Zeqiri, Ph.D., accompanied by the Vice-Rector for Finance and Investments, Ass. Prof. Bujamin Bela, Ph.D., participated in the Rectors’ Forum of Southeast Europe, which was held at the University St. Kliment Ohridski in Bitola.
Within the framework of the Rectors’ Forum of Southeast Europe, of which MTU is a full member, a series of activities on future opportunities and the role of the academic community in the modern world took place. Among them, a spotlight had the news about university alliances, their values, and their current involvement in the COLORS Alliance.
The conference program included the exchange of ideas, collaboration, and networking among the academy and the colleagues from the business, civic, governmental, and educational sectors.
In this context, the European Union allocates funds to help in these processes and these initiatives that develop higher education and contribute to the academic development of the universities.
This year, the host of the 9. Rectors’ Forum of Southeast Europe, in co-organization with the alliances COLOURS, EUTOPIA, and YUFE, is the University St. Kliment Ohridski in Bitola.
