Skopje, January 30, 2025 – Mother Teresa University in Skopje was honored to welcome the Republic of Turkey Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi delegation, with the aim of deepening academic cooperation and international exchange of experiences between the two higher education institutions.

The meeting, chaired by the Rector of Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi in Konya, Lecturer Cem Zorlu, Ph.D., who was welcomed by the leadership of MTU, Lecturer Blerim Saiti, Ph.D., Head for International Relations; the Vice-Rector for Science and Research, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D.; Assoc. Prof. Bujamin Bela, Ph.D.; Vice-Rector for Finance, Investment, and Development; and the Vice-Rector for Education and Student Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Fati Iseni, Ph.D. The Secretary General, Ms. Mukades Hajdari, and Lecturer Enver Abdullahu, Ph.D., also took part in the reception.

Apart from Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi Rector, Lecturer Firat Yaldiz, Ph.D., General Coordinator for International Relations, and Mr. Osman Demirgül, State Representative of Maarif Turkish Foundation, also attended.

The meeting took place in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, focusing on opportunities for cooperation in the field of scientific research, academic exchange programs for students and staff, as well as the development of joint projects. The parties expressed their commitment to signing memorandums of cooperation that are to help strengthen ties between the two universities.

The meeting marks an important step towards strengthening academic partnerships and promoting science and education internationally.
