Mother Teresa University in Skopje is pleased to announce the organization of the Institutional Capacity Building Seminar, to be held on 29 – 30 September 2025.
The paradigm of higher education is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by rapid developments in technology, artificial intelligence, and ICT. The traditional model focused on knowledge transfer is being replaced by a new approach: fostering practical and soft skills demanded by the labor market. A key consequence of this shift is the obsolescence of classical assessment methods, requiring a transition from memory-based exams toward innovative forms that promote applied skills.
Key themes of the seminar include:
- The impact of artificial intelligence on higher education and its pedagogical applications.
- Transition toward new methods of assessment, including open-book exams.
- Curriculum reforms for integrating practical and interdisciplinary skills.
- Strengthening links with the labor market and the Alumni network.
The seminar will feature lectures by international experts from the USA and the United Kingdom, as well as local experts who will share their knowledge and experiences.
