Skopje, April 2, 2026 – At the premises of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, a professional training session for career counselors in secondary schools was conducted, organized by the Career Center at MTU.

The trainer at the session was the Head of the Career Center at MTU, Ilir Idrizi, M.A., while participants included career counselors from secondary schools across the city of Skopje.

The training aimed to strengthen the capacities of career counselors, with a particular focus on the role of the career counselor, key responsibilities, working with students, inter-institutional cooperation, quality assurance, and professional development. Additionally, a digital platform for testing students’ skills, developed by MTU staff, was presented.

The event is but the initialo step in the collaboration between MTU’s Career Center and the secondary schools. Further joint activities are to take place, with the goal of enhancing capacities and improving career guidance for secondary school students.
