Skopje, April 2026 – As part of a series of study visits to various institutions, students from the Department of Social Work and Social Policy at Mother Teresa University in Skopje visited Aurum Family Counseling Center with the aim of gaining first-hand insight into professional practices in the field of psychosocial support and family work.
The visit was led by lecturers Assoc. Prof. Elisabeta Bajrami Ollogu, Ph.D., and Assoc. Prof. Hava Rexhep, Ph.D., who guided the students throughout the activity. The students were introduced to the services provided by the center, the therapeutic and counseling approaches used in working with individuals and families, as well as the challenges encountered in everyday professional practice. The interactive discussions with the professional staff contributed to deepening the students’ knowledge and strengthening the connection between theory and practice.
This visit represents an important step in the professional development of students, exposing them to the realities of social work and encouraging the development of practical competencies in the field of family and community work.
MTU expresses gratitude to Aurum Family Counseling Center for the hospitality and willingness to share their experience with the new generations of social work professionals.
