Skopje, April 2026 – As part of the academic mobility and internationalization programs of our institution, a high-level delegation from Mother Teresa University in Skopje carried out an academic visit to the Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria.

The delegation, i.e., the Vice Rector for Finance, Investments, and Development, Assoc. Prof. Bujamin Bela, Ph.D.; the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Assoc. Prof. Bukurie Imeri Jusufi, Ph.D.; Assoc. Prof. Teuta Zenku, Ph.D.; Assoc. Prof. Zana Beqiri-Luma, Ph.D.; and Assoc. Prof. Liridon Zenku, Ph.D.

During the mobility, MTU representatives had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences with their Bulgarian colleagues, focusing on contemporary approaches and practices in the fields of technical-economic sciences and related academic disciplines. The exchange served as a platform for improving the teaching and research methodologies of the academic staff.

Intensive academic activities, workshops, and thematic discussions that took place in Sofia significantly contributed to strengthening our inter-institutional connections. The collaboration opens up new opportunities for joint scientific-research projects while simultaneously enhancing the professional capacities of MTU staff.

This experience confirms the essential importance of cross-border cooperation and academic mobility in improving the quality of higher education and the sustainable professional development of the academic staff.
