Skopje, July 2, 2026 – Today, Mother Teresa University in Skopje officially inaugurated two major international scientific conferences: the 15th World Conference on Innovation and Computer Science (INSODE 2026) and the 11th Global Conference on Business, Economics, Management, and Tourism (BEMTUR 2026).

This high-level international event is organized through a strategic partnership between Mother Teresa University in Skopje, the University for Business and Technology (UBT) in Pristina, and the TAEG Center. The conferences are held in a hybrid format, bringing together hundreds of academics and researchers from around the world. Selected papers are to be indexed in the prestigious Scopus and Clarivate Analytics databases.

During the opening ceremony, the Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., welcomed the participants and emphasized that Skopje has become a global hub of academic thought, where contemporary challenges such as artificial intelligence, innovation, and sustainable tourism are addressed.

On behalf of the partner institutions and the organizing committee, opening remarks were also delivered by Assoc. Prof. Huseyin Uzunboylu, Ph.D., President of TAEG, as well as the Conference Chairs, Prof. Ozcan Asilkan, Ph.D., from HCT, Abu Dhabi, and Prof. Blerton Abazi, Ph.D., from UBT, who highlighted the importance of knowledge exchange and academic excellence beyond borders.

According to the conference agenda, the first day continued with keynote lectures delivered by distinguished scholars, including Full Prof. Edmond Hajrizi, Ph.D.; Full Prof. Ramiz Zekaj, Ph.D.; Prof. Huseyin Uzunboylu, Ph.D.; Full Prof. Blerton Abazi, Ph.D.; and Assist. Prof. Blerta Prevala, Ph.D. These were followed by parallel sessions featuring presentations of scientific research. The conference was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Stojan Kitanov, , Ph.D., lecturer at the Faculty of Informatics at Mother Teresa University in Skopje.

The conferences is continue until July 4, with fruitful discussions among lecturers, researchers, and students expected to generate innovative solutions and contribute added value to technological, economic, and educational development.

The joint INSODE 2026 and BEMTUR 2026 conferences are to serve as a bridge for establishing new international academic partnerships and fostering the next generation of researchers.
