Skopje, May 12, 2026 – Mother Teresa University in Skopje students participated in the North Macedonia–Albania Economic Forum on the topic “Beyond Borders,” organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Skopje.
The forum was attended by the Ambassador of Albania, ambassadors from various countries, as well as ministers and institutional representatives from North Macedonia and Albania. During the sessions, discussions focused on strengthening economic cooperation, sustainable regional development, and creating new bridges for trade and diplomatic collaboration.
Mother Teresa University in Skopje was represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Assoc. Prof. Bukurije Imeri Jusufi, Ph.D.; the Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications, Assoc. Prof. Kaltrina Zekolli Shaqiri, Ph.D.; and the President of the University Student Assembly, Besar Sejdiu. They were accompanied by a group of students from MTU’s Faculty of Economics and MTU’s Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
Participants had the opportunity to closely follow high-level discussions, exchange ideas with experts in the field, and become familiar with new perspectives for economic integration between the two countries.
