GRADUATES INFORMED ABOUT CHALLENGES OF FUTURE PROFESSIONS AND LABOR MARKET
The Faculty of Technical Sciences, the Faculty of Law, and the Faculty of Economics at the Mother Teresa University in Skopje organized a panel discussion on the topic “Future Professions and the Labor Market” with students of Cvetan Dimov High School and Arseni Jovkov High School.
At the opening of the panel discussion, Rector, Lecturer Izet Zeqiri, Ph.D., thanked the graduates and the principals for their interest and participation and pointed out that the study conditions and the numerous MTU study programs are deficient in the labor market and enable quick employment, and, thus, count among the most paid activities.
Mother Teresa University in Skopje has many advantages for studying, above all, its location in Skopje city center; it is the first public university in the Albanian language in the capital; its professional staff; the possibility of development through grants and scholarships; access to laboratories; and enables preparation for the labor market, as stated by Rector Zeqiri.
MTU’s Vice-Rector for Finance, Investments, and Development, Assoc. Prof. Bujamin Bela, Ph.D., delivered a motivational lecture on choosing a professional career under the title “Challenges in the Career Choice – Future Professions and the Labor Market” which caused particular interest among the high school graduates.
“The management of young people as human resources aims at the young person, their commitments, development, preparation, motivation, performance, and reward, while the continuous changes in the market economy impose the need to invest in the quality and development of human resources capacities,” stated professor Bela.
The principal of Cvetan Dimov High School in Skopje, Gani Arsllani, stated that as a school, they pay importance to the orientation of the graduates towards the choice of their future profession.
The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Assoc. Prof. Argëtim Saliu, Ph.D., announced that the Faculty of Law offers distinctive studies to meet the needs of the market, especially for our climate, while studies on justice and criminology serve to train young lawyers, especially for the challenges of modern research.
The dean of the Faculty of Economics, Lecturer Bukurie Imeri Jusufi, Ph.D., stated that the Faculty of Economics offers to all potential students the most sought-after study programs on the market and it allows them to research in the centers of the country. Students can study their favorite courses, such as Finance, Marketing, Analysis of the Market, and Management.
The Dean of the Faculty of Technical Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Neritan Turkeshi, Ph.D., stated that the Faculty Technical of Sciences provides multidimensional professional training for students, including the field of robotics and intelligent systems, offering them employment opportunities
in many areas, such as the manufacturing industries, public and private enterprises; transport and traffic engineering, customs, and insurance companies.
