Skopje, October 2024 – In the premises of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, at the Faculty of Informatics, a public lecture was successfully delivered with the outstanding expert from the Rochester Institute of Technology, Lecturer Debabrata Samanta, Ph.D., on the topic “Essential Foundations of Cyber Security Based in IA, To Protect Ourselves and Our Information”.

Lecturer Debabrata Samanta, Ph.D., was welcomed by MTU Vice Rector for Science, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji and the Dean of the Faculty of Informatics, Ass. Prof. Majlinda Axhiu, Ph.D., and thanked by them for the professional lecture to the students of Informatics.

Lecturer Debabrata Samanta, Ph.D.’s presentation focused on the most current technologies involving application parts, addressing students and faculty members on the critical intersection of artificial intelligence and cyber security.

Lecturer Debabrata Samanta, Ph.D., has prominent achievements in the field of informatics, holds 22 patents, 4 Indian design patents and 2 Australian patents, also holds 16 Indian patents issued and 2 copyrights. Lecturer Debabrata Samanta, Ph.D., has authored and co-authored 247+ research papers in international journals (SCI/SCIE/ESCI/Scopus) and conferences including IEEE, Springer, and Elsevier Conference Proceedings. He received the Scholastic Award at the 2. International Conference on Computer Science and IT Applications, CSIT-2011 in Delhi, India.

At the public lecture, students from the Faculty of Informatics at MTU had the opportunity to learn from the experience and expertise of Lecturer Debabrata Samanta, Ph.D., as well as to exchange opinions on relevant topics.
