Skopje, October 30, 2024 – As part of the awareness-raising activities, the Faculty of Social Sciences at Mother Teresa University in Skopje honored Pink October, the month dedicated to raising awareness for the prevention and fight against breast cancer, with a panel discussion open to students and university staff.
The activity was conducted by MTU psychology professor, Ass. Prof. Nita Beluli, Ph.D., accompanied by two panelists, Ms. Liridona Beqiri, breast cancer awareness activist and president of the EZRA organization, and Ms. Alije Alimi, professor of psychology at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje, who discussed the awareness and importance of early detection and health care for the prevention of serious diseases.
The organization not only helps to increase knowledge about the disease but also encourages participants to be more aware of their health and the health of their families. Thanks to this commitment, Mother Teresa University in Skopje remains an important promoter of health causes and a good example of solidarity and commitment to the health of the community.
