Belgium, November 2024 – The Vice-Rector for Finance, Investment, and Development, Lecturer Bujamin Bela, Ph.D., represented Mother Teresa University in Skopje at the European Research Council (ERC) Conference. This important event for the European academic and scientific world brought together prominent researchers, policymakers, and academic experts to discuss the latest research and projects funded by the ERC.
The conference was held within the framework of the European Framework Program for Research and Innovation on the topic “Increasing Participation and Broadening Horizons,” held on the premises of the Council of the European Union. During the event, participants shared good practices for involving actors from different regions and countries in research and innovation policies, emphasizing the importance of institutional support for scientific development.
The organization was implemented by the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the EU in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Council. Such conferences are of particular importance for strengthening the European research framework and for promoting cooperation between scientists from different countries to tackle global challenges.
