Skopje,  September 16, 2025 – Today, in his office, the Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., welcomed the renowned professor and distinguished historian, Lecturer Oliver Jens Schmitt, Ph.D., from Vienna, along with Ioannis Zelepos, Ph.D., lecturer at the University of Ioannina.

Rector Fetaji was accompanied by Vice-Rectors Assoc. Prof. Fati Iseni, Ph.D. and Assoc. Prof. Diturije Ismaili, Ph.D., as well as Lecturer, Izer Maksuti, Ph.D., lecturer at the Faculty of Human Sciences.

The meeting took place in an academic and friendly atmosphere, serving as a valuable opportunity for exchanging ideas and fostering mutual understanding. Both parties expressed their willingness to explore concrete possibilities for future regional inter-university cooperation in the fields of history, humanities, and comparative studies. This meeting highlighted MTU’s commitment to expanding collaborations with renowned academic institutions across Europe and to building new bridges for scientific dialogue
