Skopje, August 2026 – The Rector of the Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Full. Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., accompanied by Vice-Rector Full. Prof. Fati Iseni, Ph.D., attended the solemn event entitled “Mother Teresa – A Life in the Service of Humanity”.
Through this commemorative and scientific event, tribute was paid to the extraordinary legacy, spirit of selflessness, and high humanitarian values that our Albanian Saint left as a legacy to all of humanity.
As part of the event, the latest scientific-documentary work entitled “The Missionary Journey of Gonxhe Bojaxhiu towards the Universal Mother Teresa”, co-authored by Skender Asani, Ph.D., and Albert Ramaj, was also presented. The book offers an in-depth perspective on Gonxhe Bojaxhiu’s life and spiritual journey towards the universal dimensions of Mother Teresa.
The event was organized under the auspices of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia and was attended by senior state officials from the country, as well as high-level international representatives, diplomats, and distinguished personalities from abroad.
In addition, an accompanying documentary exhibition was also opened for the attendees, dedicated to the life and work of Mother Teresa, as well as to the preservation of the spiritual and national values embodied by her legacy.
