May 7, Open Day and Career Fair — the beginning of a new chapter for MTU studentsSkopje, April 30, 2026 – The Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., held an official meeting today with the President of the Economic Chamber Of North-West Macedonia, Mr. Nuhi Aliu, during which they discussed the advancement of the strategic partnership between academia and the economic sector. At the working meeting, MTU Rector Full Prof. Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., was accompanied by the Vice-Rectors Full Prof. Sani Demiri, Ph.D.; Assoc. Prof. Bujamin Bela, Ph.D.; and Vebi Fazliu, Ph.D., while Mr. Aliu was accompanied by the Executive Director of the Economic Chamber Of North-West Macedonia, Mr. Durim Zekiri. The discussion focused on the necessity of aligning study programs with the dynamics and real needs of the labor market. As a result of the constructive dialogue, the partnership aims to bring university degrees closer to economic realities, a process that is to be guided by joint working groups. The cooperation ensures that the Economic Chamber Of North-West Macedonia is to serve as an active partner in the development of the study programs for every faculty within MTU, creating new opportunities for students to demonstrate their skills through intensive professional internships and practical training. Special attention was also dedicated to the joint organization of the Open Day and Career Fair, which is to take place on May 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The event is to serve as a bridge of connection, where current and prospective students are to have the opportunity to explore the many employment and professional development opportunities offered through the Economic Chamber Of North-West Macedonia’s network of companies. MTU remains committed to preparing graduates who not only possess theoretical knowledge, but are also ready to contribute directly to the country’s economic growth.
