Mother Teresa University in Skopje students participated in the training “A Better Region Starts With The Youth” organized by the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO).

The training was carried out in Mavrovo from November 29, 2023 to December 1, 2023 with the participation of students from all state universities in the Republic of North Macedonia, with special emphasis on the Faculties of Legal Studies, Forensic Sciences, and Faculty of Insurance.

At this training, various topics were discussed, the most important of which was the peace and safety of young people. Capacity building training programs focused on youth, peace, and security as essential for equipping young people with the skills, knowledge, and necessary means to actively participate in peace building efforts.

These training programs for MTU students help them improve and deepen their scientific studies and aim to improve their understanding of conflict resolution, mediation, leadership, and human rights, also investing in the development of young people’s capacities.
