Mother Teresa University in Skopje, in cooperation with Boro Petrushevski Car Traffic School Center in Skopje and the Faculty of Technical Sciences, organized a round table on the topic “How to Become Creative and Innovative”, attended by many graduates from the school.
The Rector of MTU, Lecturer Izet Zeqiri, Ph.D., welcomed the graduates, the Principal and Vice-Principal of Boro Petrushevski Car Traffic School Center in Skopje, Aleksandar Strezov and Zekirija Zekiri, and stated that the doors of our university and the Faculty of Technical Sciences are always open for them.
Rector Zeqiri added that much attention needs to be paid to how high school students are prepared for university studies and how students are prepared for the labor market, as there are differences between the skills offered by education and those required by the economy, so improving education requires professional, effective, and efficient treatment because it increases the capacities of the young for the labor market.
The Vice-Principal of Boro Petrushevski Car Traffic School Center in Skopje, Zekirija Zekiri, stated that creativity comes in the form of new ideas, concepts, projects, and products that exceed the usual limits.
The Dean of the Faculty of Technical Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Neritan Turkeshi, Ph.D., stated that globalization changes the world very quickly and that universities must be on the side of initiatives for intelligence to enter new production and development of human capacities.
After the presentations, an intensive debate started, in which the academics, graduates, and students took part.
Mother Teresa University in Skopje has an absolute majority of study programs in deficit, and graduates are employed in record time; thus, such round tables are to be held every week to bridge graduates and students with potential employers.
