Skopje, September 26, 2024 – The Rector of Mother Teresa University in Skopje, Lecturer Izet Zeqiri, Ph.D., on this day, participated in the discussion on the challenges in higher education in our country, organized at the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences at the University Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje.

At the discussion, Rector Zeqiri, in his speech for the audience, emphasized, among other things, that the promotion and quality assurance of state universities is a need of time and an urgent need for everyone.

Participants in the discussion were Lecturer Vesna Janevska, Ph.D., Minister of Education and Science in the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Lulzim Aliu, Deputy Minister of Education and Science in the Republic of North Macedonia, as well as representatives from all universities in the country.

The discussion was organized in order to perceive the broad views in the field of higher education, or rather to receive their suggestions from academics in the country, whose basic commitment is to raise the quality and advance the higher education and scientific research activity.
