Skopje, December 2024 – Mother Teresa University in Skopje successfully organized a training seminar on improving the quality of scientific papers in academic journals. During the seminar, the Vice-Rector for Science, Lecturer Bekim Fetaji, Ph.D., gave a comprehensive presentation on the importance of scientific papers published in journals with an impact factor.
Vice-Rector Fetaji highlighted the main concepts for structuring and preparing scientific articles, discussed the gaps made in research (gap analysis), and shared practical approaches for improving scientific publications of MTU.
During the seminar, participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with:
– Platform and digital tools for concrete citations and references;
– Matrices for research and structuring scientific papers;
– Strategies for increasing the visibility and citations of scientific articles;
– Best practices for submitting articles to academic journals of MTU faculties.
The importance of following the established formats and respecting the submission deadlines was also emphasized. The deadline for submitting articles is January 27, 2025, and submission must be made through the online application form, available in the “Submission” section of the official website of the journals: www.journals.unt.edu.mk.
The seminar was organized with the aim of strengthening the scientific capacities of academic staff and students in order to increase the quality and impact of publications of Mother Teresa University in the academic field.
